Gerald Liskovec's Obituary
JERRY LISKOVEC, AGE 87, PASSED AWAY ON THURSDAY, JULY 6, 2023 IN GREENVILLE, SC SURROUNDED BY HIS FAMILY. Husband of Joyce Mattos for 3 years and the late Janet (nee Mendsen) for over 40 years; cherished father of Jonathan Liskovec (Amanda); grandfather of Avery and Leah; dear brother of the late George Liskovec and Carol Kenny; uncle of John Kenny.
Jerry served during the Korean Conflict with the 325th infantry and also was as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne. He was a collision repair technician who loved working with his hands. Even after his retirement, he kept busy by helping others who needed his abilities and expertise.
Friends may call at Vodrazka Funeral home 6505 Brecksville Rd., Independence (1/2 mile south of Rockside) on Friday, August 18 from 5-7 PM. Memorial service at 7 PM at the funeral home. Interment at Mapleshade Cemetery on Saturday at 11 AM with Military Honors.
