I will always remember George as a kind and helpful person who cared about others. Though I knew him only seven years, I felt as though I knew him for a lifetime from the time we first met. God bless you George and your wonderful family.
George was always very nice to me and my kids. One time he even helped with my landscaping. He was just a really nice guy who liked to do nice things for others.

I am very saddened by the passing of George. I know how great this loss is for your family and you have my deepest condolences. My favorite memory of George was that he was the quintessential dad. In college when I would spend weekends in Cleveland with Kara, it would be very common that I would come out on Saturday morning with my car washed or at least my windshield cleaned. He did it because he liked to do nice things for people without being asked. It's the everyday acts of kindness that I will always remember. I always felt welcomed in his and Elaine's home. It was always obvious how much he loved his family, especially his grandsons. This is how I will remember George.
