Frank J. Kubat's Obituary
Frank J. Kubat, age 89, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020. Cherished son of the late Martin & Katherine (nee Krasun) Kubat. Loving brother of James (Frances) Kubat, Clara Domagalski (Edwin), Bernice Minarczyk (Frank), Laura Strynkowski (Walter), and Eleanor Amoroso (Chris), all deceased. Dear uncle of Jane Parsons, Kathy Everett, Diane Augustyn, Frank Minarczyk and the late Michael Minarczyk. Life partner of the late Bill Schroeder. Great uncle of many. Frank worked for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroads for 29 years.
“Fritz” had a life long passion for fine interior design, decorating and collecting antiques. He owned several antique stores in Bedford and Independence areas. He used his artistic talent to beautify his lawns and the exteriors of his homes He also loved his cats and generously donated to animal shelters and rescues. Fritz was a wonderful uncle and left us with so many wonderful memories, especially his beautiful Christmas Eve family gatherings every year. He will be greatly missed by his family and fondly remembered by many. Services will be private.
