Dear Mrs. Knittel,Linda,Lisa,Frankie & Family, We are so sorry to hear about Mr. Knittels passing and know what you are feeling during this difficult time of grif. I remember a time Linda when you invited me over to your parent's home to watch a slide show presented by your father. He was so proud of his pictures and what a surprise to me and all of you that I was in some of those pictures standing by your side almost from so many years ago when we were just little girls making our First Communion at SS Peter & Paul Church. I always believed from that point on we were meant to be friends. I always loved your mother and thought your father was a lot of fun when we would all gather together at your place or theirs to celebrate some special occasion or for some other purpose (to see new kittens) or new remodeling. We always enjoyed great conversation & laughter with your father & your mother...I could go on and on but I want all of you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we wish we could be by your sides to hold your hands to give you a hug and to tell you everything will be OK with time. To the family of Frank Knittel: My sincerest condolences to you. I first met Frank when we were both in the 1st grade at SS Peter and Paul school in 1941 - 66 years ago. I have great memories of playing football and baseball in Garfield Park with Frank and John and other classmates - Bob Bilicki, Ron Klukan and many others. Occasionally, I would see Frank at the early Sunday Mass at St.Therese and we would often talk. Frank was a great person and will be remembered. Larry Verbiar
