Mr. Frank Barwacz's Obituary
FRANK BARWACZ, 99, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021. Cherished husband of the late Virginia for 68 years; dear father of Bob, Gary (Sara), Karen Pierson, and Ron (Laurie); grandfather of Robert, Michael (Jess), Dr. Thomas (Gina), Michelle (Jason), John (Patrice), Matt, Allison (Pat), and Eric; great grandfather of Addison, Emma, Evan, Cameron, Bryce, Brooklyn, and Colton.
Frank was U. S. Navy WWII veteran interviewed by Library of Congress Veterans History Project about his WWII experience; former president of the Holy Name Society and a devout member of St. Michael Catholic Church. He loved playing in the casino. A special thanks to the caregivers at Compassionate Care Hospice, Vista Springs Ravinia, and the aides from the Veterans Administration.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD. INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside) ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 24, from 2-6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Michael Catholic Church, Independence on Monday, October 25 at 10 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Catholic Church, Independence, OH.
