Florence Barone's Obituary
Florence Barone (nee Glenbocki), age 77, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 after a courageous 27 year battle with Parkinson's. Beloved wife of 50 years to Carl P. Barone. Loving mother of Ronald (Nicki) Croasmun (& former wife, Tina), Michael (Michelle) Croasmun , Carlo (Jessica) Barone and Rick (Pamela) Barone. Cherished grandmother of Monika, Casey, Carlo, Julia, Rick, Ava, Reanna, Natalia, Michael & Lucas. Dear daughter of the late Chester and Florence (nee Wirzylo) Glenbocki. Sister of Rosie Jenkins (Bob), Chester (Joan) Glenbocki and the late James (Mary) Glenbocki. Aunt and great aunt of many. Loved and respected by countless cherished friends. Florence was an incredibly kind-hearted woman who inspired love and grace to everyone she encountered, and her caring, sincere, and humble nature made her the heart and soul of her family and of any party. She spent 20 years as a receptionist at the Cardiology department of The Cleveland Clinic before retiring in 2004. The family is incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support and will receive friends in THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., (RT. 21, S. OF ROCKSIDE), TUESDAY, JULY 27, 2021 FROM 4-8 PM AND WEDNESDAY JULY 28, 2021 FROM 9-11AM, WITH FUNERAL SERVICE/CELEBRATION OF LIFE TO FOLLOW AT 11 A.M. INTERMENT HOLY CROSS CEMETERY. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in honor of Florence.
