Feliks Habjanic's Obituary
Feliks Habjanic, age 90. He was born to Maria Habjanic and France Jus in Rodni Vrh, Slovenia and married Slava (nee Zalokar) in Cleveland in 1961. Dear brother of Maria Plavec (Louis) and Ivo Habjanic (Margarite). Dearest father of Sylvia (John), Bob (Kathy), Ed (Awilda) and Srecko (Tilcka). Cherished grandfather of Tony, Ian (Karen), Nicholas, Mary Kathryn, Jude, Katja and Nejc. Uncle of Milos, Branko (Lidia), Bojan (Vesna) and Cveto.
Feliks loved the sciences and began his career as a research assistant at Case Western Reserve University. He was later employed as a paint chemist for many years beginning at Mobil Chemical Company in Cleveland and later relocating to Henkel Corporation in Wisconsin before retiring. He created many memories sharing his love of history and his stories.
Family and friends may gather for visitation Friday, May 9, 2025 at St. Vitus Catholic Church, 6019 Lausche Ave., Cleveland from 10 - 11 am. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment All Souls Cemetery, Chardon, Ohio.
