Esther L. Jonke (nee Ostrowski), (Albert deceased), lived an active and fulfilling life for most of her 99 years. She treasured her beloved family and their pets, loved watching her birds, being outdoors, and reading. She was her class Valedictorian and studied business at Dyke College in the 1940's. She used her real estate expertise as a Northeast Regional Relocation Supervisor for the state of Ohio. She enjoyed her decades serving as a volunteer at Marymount Hospital, playing Canasta, and crocheting beautiful afghans for her family. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. She will be deeply missed by her two beloved daughters, Karen Pelley (Eric) and Cynthia Bartels (Richard); her five grandchildren: Bryan Pelley (Terri), Neil Pelley, Sheila Zumbar (Zachary), Russell Bartels (Stephanie), and Elaine Bartels; her three great grandchildren; and her beloved sister, Elaine Howe and her family. Funeral services will be private.
