Emily B. Gurgol, (nee Kowalik), age 88, longtime resident of Independence, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 in Fairfield, Ohio. Beloved wife of the late Harry S. Gurgol. Loving mother of Harry J. (Linda), and Patricia Halun (deceased). Devoted grandmother of Michelle Gurgol Spegal (Brian), Sara Gurgol and Gail Halun. Great grandmother of twins, Gabrielle and Madison Spegal. Funeral Mass Thursday, June 28, 2018 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, at 10 a.m. Family will receive friends in THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., (RT. 21, S. OF ROCKSIDE), THURSDAY MORNING, FROM 9:00 A.M. UNTIL TIME OF MASS AT 10 A.M. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery.
