Elizabeth (Betty) Muzic (nee Vlasaty) Age 99. Beloved wife of 51 years to the late Charles H.
Dear Mother of Romaine Clevinger (Gary) and Gregory (Patricia). Loving Grandmother of Kara Clevinger & Cathy (Greg) Zegarac. Great Grandmother of Jack & Charlie.
Preceded in death by parents Emery and Rose (Tondora) Vlasaty; infant twin brothers William and Frances; brothers Louis, Emery Jr, Joseph, Edward & John; sisters Ann Kulback and Rosemary Antoniou.
Born February 5, 1918 in Johnstown PA.
Moved to Cleveland Ohio and worked for the Chicago Pneumatic Co during WWII supporting the war effort, and that is where she met her husband Charles. In 1959 they moved into their home in Independence, OH. In 1966 She and her husband founded Industrial Pneumatic & Supply Co where she worked until retirement.
She enjoyed winter get-a-ways to Florida, and summer weekends were spent with family and good friends at Bay Point in Marblehead OH. She loved to golf and had been a member of the St. Bernard Golf club. She also loved to paint.
She has been a longtime member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Independence, OH and participated in Perpetual Adoration there for many years.
Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., at 10 a.m. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., (RT. 21, SOUTH OF ROCKSIDE), MONDAY, OCTOBER 30, 2017 FROM 4-8 P.M.
The family suggests that in Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Elizabeth’s name to a charity of your choice.
