Dorothy J. Svoboda (nee Brichacek), age 81, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020, surrounded by her children. Beloved wife of the late William F. Svoboda. Loving mother of Sharon Sobona (Jerry), Mary Beth DiPaola (Robert), William J. Svoboda (Katie) and Diane Kotara (John). Proud grandmother of Christina, William M. (Brittney), Andrea Nych (John), Kelly, Robert, Angela, Julia and Amy. Cherished great grandmother of Jordan and one joining the family in a few weeks. Daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (nee Fuka) Brichacek. Dear sister of the late John Brick, and Frank & Harry Brichacek. Aunt of many. Special camping nephews Richard Svoboda and Michael Svoboda. Loving neighbor and niece Carolyn Brichacek ("field trip Fridays"). Family will receive friends in THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., (RT. 21 S. OF ROCKSIDE), THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 27, 2020 FROM 4-8 P.M. Prayer service at the funeral home Friday, February 28, at 8:45 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 6750 State Rd., at 9:30 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her memory to Holy Family Home, 6707 State Rd., Parma, 44134.
