Dorothy L. DeBlasis (nee Wisnieski), of Independence, formerly of Valley View. Age 94, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Fred J. DeBlasis. Loving mother of Donna (Vernon) Bender, Carol (William) Sindelar, Thomas (Dudi) DeBlasis, and Fred (Mary) DeBlasis. Grandmother of David & Steven Bender, William & Michael Sindelar, Nicholas DeBlasis & Kimberly Degg (nee DeBlasis), and Dominic & Anthony DeBlasis. Great grandmother of 13. Daughter of the late Edward & Margaret (nee Ruff) Wisnieski. Sister of Evelyn Zmijewski and the late Elmer Wisnieski (wife Ernestine), Edna Rice and Baby Edward. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 4, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, at 10 a.m. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery. Family will receive friends at THE VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME OF INDEPENDENCE, 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., (RT. 21, SOUTH OF ROCKSIDE), FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2017 FROM 3-7 P.M.
