DORIS A. PRIEBE (nee Miles), age 90; found her way home to be with the Lord, family and friends on July 5, 2012, after celebrating Independence Day for the 91st time. Beloved wife of 50 years of the late James; beloved mom to Jimmy (deceased), Terrance, Jeanne (deceased), Patrick (deceased) (Marybeth), Nancy Mirenda (Joe), Michael (Carol); nana to Brent, Maggie, Jessica McKay (Erik), Valerie, Caroline, Jim, Colleen, Michael and Charlie; chosen grandma to Joe, Mandy and Jason Patterson, Angela; loving great grandma to Josh, Connor, Jake and Andrew; born and raised in Iowa she was a dear sister to Ronald (Hila), Norman (Kay) and Mary; preceded in death by her mom and dad, Maggie and Archie Miles, sisters Winona, Gertrude, LaRue, Dixie and brothers LeRoy and Mervin; cherished aunt of many and chosen friend to Theresa and Fran and aunt by choice to The Burke family; As a Marine Corps Veteran of WWII and a lifelong member of VFW Post 3456, she had the love of friends from all walks of life. She leaves behind a legacy of love, her life has been enriched with friends that have loved her like a sister. She has left her heart with all of us through great recipes, stitches of love and acts of kindness. She will be remembered as a strong, independent, true role model to anyone who crossed her path. Family and friends may call at GOLUBSKI DELIBERATO FUNERAL HOME 4747 TURNEY RD. CORNER of GARFIELD BLVD. where services will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 9:30 am and at Holy Name Church at 10:00 am. Interment Calvary Cemetery. VISITATION SUNDAY 4-8PM.
