Donald Schiff, age 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Beloved husband of the late Audrey Schiff, with whom he shared 46 wonderful years of marriage. Loving father of Randall (Linda), Suzanne (Scott), David (Sabine), and Steven (Christina). Cherished grandfather of Megan, Morgan, Connor, Nathan, Helen, Mia, and Destiny. Dear brother of the late Richard Schiff and the late Shirley Giera. Son of the late Wilbert and Charlotte Schiff and loving uncle to Lynn, Jeff and Chris (deceased) Giera.
Donald proudly served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was an avid reader with a deep love for history, and enjoyed camping, golfing, and helping others throughout his life. His kind heart, steady wisdom, and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, October 27, 2025, at Vodrazka Golubski Deliberato Funeral Care, 6505 Brecksville Rd., Independence, OH, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence. Donald will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park, Ohio, with military honors presented by the U.S. Navy.
