Yep, Dennis & I Old Hood St Hyacinth classmates..Dennis always spoke of our Old Hood as a great place to grow up in..I agree!..Never knew his sister Pauline existed until a life encounter happened in the neighborhood.. Then eventually Dennis and I became Brother-In-Laws..I can picture Pauline ( haha) and all the family greeting Dennis as he walked through the Gates!..As The World Turns...
There is always a connection between a boy and his father. It doesn't matter what the circumstances are. I remember sitting outside of my house for hours for him to come pick me up, Mary Lou you offered me that Indians coat today. That was probably the same coat he was wearing the day we got snowed out. I was always excited when I knew he was coming to get me. I wish he would have gotten to see my boys more but my boys know they are a Becker boys. I will struggle with the why's and why not. I love the man that I got to know. If there is one thing I got out of him you show up on looking your best and that's what my boys did today
I remember Dennis from the old neighborhood. Rest In Peace my friend. 🌷
God bless you, Cousin Dennis. You did well here...Â
