David B Powers' Obituary
DAVID B POWERS, AGE 73, PASSED AWAY ON TUESDAY, JUNE 18, 2024. Loving father of Erica Powers and Jennifer Vance (Nick); cherished grandfather of Emma and Hunter; dear brother of Kenneth (Rose), Timothy (Nannette), and William (Tia). Uncle of many nieces and nephews and life long friend of Wayne and Lori Hlavin. David is preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Ethel Powers.
David was an avid game hunter and collected a wide array of military vehicles from WWII including Jeeps, tanks, and other memorabilia. Wherever he went, he was always the life of the party. David worked for American Greetings for many years as the Security Supervisor and during his retirement, he enjoyed getting together weekly for lunch with those closest to him.
FRIENDS MAY CALL AT VODRAZKA FUNERAL HOME 6505 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE (1/2 mile south of Rockside Rd.) ON WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26 FROM 3-6:30 PM. A funeral service will begin at 6:30 PM at the funeral home.
