David Newport's Obituary
DAVID NEWPORT, 70, of Independence, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. Cherished husband of Jeanette (nee Burns); dear father of Kimberly Grisdale, Richard Newport (Angela), John Strasser (Lisa), and Jackie Strasser; beloved grandfather of Brittany, Krista, Danielle, Kathy, James, Alyssa, Kyle, Mason, Breanna, and Alex; devoted brother of Barbara Robinson, the late Kathy Newport, John Newport, and Joanne Drewry.
David loved to tinker in the garage making all sorts of things out of copper and a variety of things for around the house. He loved the outdoors, riding around on his John Deere tractor, and his dogs and cats.
A private Celebration of Life service is planned for a later date on their property in New Philadelphia, OH.
