Dear Mr and Mrs Furcello, My heart is broken over hearing that our friend Ross has passed away. I met Ross when he interviewed me to be his secretary in 1986. The very first thing he said to me was "don't you think you're a little young for this position?" Well as you can imagine his he terrified a then twenty-two year old girl with no experience, however I learned that Ross was a great big teddy bear and I loved him dearly. We shared many great times together and he was there on the day I got married and his presence meant the world to me. We have stayed in touch over the years through Christmas cards and some mutual friends. He was a great guy and he will be missed tremendously. God Bless all of you. Nikki and Patrick Dunphy

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Furcello, Please know that you are being held in prayer with the loss of your son. That which I recall most about Ross during my Walsh years was his kind heart. That kindness never left him, and I had the blessing of being able to see him three years ago. Again, such a kind heart -- he welcomed my husband and me into his home with open arms. Ross was still the same Ross who had a heart that could fill a room. Thank you for raising such a fine man for the world to hold onto -- even if for a little while. May God give you comfort and peace in knowing that your son is safely home.

I was shocked and saddened to read of the passing of Ross when I read the most recent edition of "Walsh Times". When I went to work there as Residence Hall Director in the early 80's, Ross was one of the students I was able to really develop a friendship with. I remember countless trips to Friendlys and many other fond memories over the years I was in North Canton. Though we were not in touch over the last several years, I never forgot his smiling face and vibrant personality, and had actually just wondered about him recently, rather ironically. My thoughts and prayers are with you, his family, as my parents lost a son (and I lost a younger brother) defying the natural order of things. Thank you for sharing the gift of him with the rest of the world for 46 years!

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Furcello I want to express my sympathy in the loss of your son Ross. I had the great opportunity to meet him while I was at Walsh. Throughout my years there as a student and while I worked there while in law school he was a friend I valued. Regardless of the pressures from classes that I felt were over my head, he would find humor to lift my spirits. He was able to instill in all that were around him an attitude that we would all be fine. He will be missed.

My sincerest sympathy to Ross's friends and family. Ross was a great guy! I have known Ross since 1985 as a student at Walsh and then as a staff member. Ross was kind, funny, warm, and welcoming soon became a dear friend. I am blessed to have known Ross.

Our sincerest sympathy to all the family and friends. We both worked with Ross and always enjoyed his Catholicism lessons during our RCIA. He always took the time to remember the date when we became Catholic and called us to congratulat on the anniversary every year. We are blessed to have known him.
