Carol A. Stegmaier, (nee Scheidecker), age 83, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021. Beloved wife of 62 years to Daniel G. Stegmaier. Loving mother of Robert (Kathy), James (Mary Jo, deceased), William (Andrea), Karen Kolosionek, Laura Synek (Kenn), Susan Deptowicz (Mark), and Janet Young (David). Cherished grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 4. Carol was a graduate of St. John's School of Nursing and she volunteered for many years for Red Cross, Womankind and Warm Up America. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, July 1, 2021 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 6912 Chestnut Rd., Independence, OH 44131 at 11 AM. Family will receive friends Thursday in the church prior to Mass from 9:30AM to 11AM. Interment Mapleshade Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Womankind, St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Augustine Church.
