Carol was my best friend in high school. So many years ago. Carol introduced me to her cousin Fred, whom became my husband for 58 years now. We all had so much fun together, especially when Jim's trombone was involved. A favorite saying from Dr. Seuss: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened" - a tribute to Carol's life.

“Carol was my favourite cousin. We lived in Southwestern Ontario and she, Uncle Mike and Aunt Rose often came to visit in summers, I recall once also with Great Aunt Susie Shabra. She was my grandfather's sister, and I know we have many relations in Ohio.
Carol and Jim even stopped in to visit on their honeymoon, in their volkswagon beetle, and with his trombone. He teased that Hold That Tiger turned her on!
