Bruce Algie's Obituary
Today and always we celebrate the life of Bruce Algie, Born February 4th 1977, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was called home to Heaven on August 23rd, 2021. He spent most of his childhood in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio but loved the life he built with his family in Florida. He was married to his high school sweetheart for over 21 years and embraced the life God gave him as son, father, husband and friend.
He is survived by and forever loved by his wife Samantha Algie (Foote), daughter Ethanna, sons Braiden and Avery, mother Cathy Demko. We are heavy hearted with our loss but sturdy in our faith that we will all see him again in heaven.
Bruce's life was rich in many ways, but he took every lesson he learned and turned it into his own love language to those around him. You might have seen him in his younger days drag racing at Norwalk Raceway, then later in life you'd find him building race cars in his own garage. As a highschooler he played football any chance he could and grew that athletic drive into fuel for coaching his sons on the field and his daughter from the stands. You may not know that when he was just little, he learned how to haggle at the local flea market with his Grandpa Demko and Bruce used those skills to provide for his family as a master of buying and selling in any marketplace. He was an example to his children of how to overcome, survive and thrive, by the grace of God.
Bruce's greatest legacy was growing his faith and sharing it with the people he loved and those who only he could reach. He was changed by Jesus and his life's purpose was fulfilled with the hearts and souls he changed forever. His family wants you to remember Bruce for his passion for cars, his family and his faith in Jesus Christ.
