Beverly Scott, age 88, born March 9, 1933 passed away peacefully on February 25, 2022. Beloved wife of Alexander for 59 years who passed away in July 2020. Dearest mother of Jeff (Tyra) and John (Debbie). Cherished grandmother of Andrew, Mia, Sarah, Derek and Dylan. Dear sister of Lois Belak, Beverly Vasenda and John Bolan. Beverly loved the outdoors, friends and her family. Her fondest memories are those with her childhood girlfriends, "The Club", who had an inseparable bond of 75+ years. A longtime resident of Independence, she enjoyed everything the city offered including the park, bingo and social events held at the community centers.
