Barbara Jo Jackson's Obituary
Barbara J.Jackson, 77, passed away July 30, 2025 in Strongsville, Ohio with her daughter by her side.Barbara was born December 23, 1947 to Dale and Charlotte Jackson in New London, Ohio. Over the course of her life Barbara was known for her work ethic and sense of humor. She graduated from Ursuline College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987. Barbara worked for Eaton Corporation for over twenty years before retiring. She then went on to work at Parker Hannifin part time for several years.Barbara had a love affair with Cleveland baseball, golf, art, animals and films.Barbara is survived by her daughter, Tiffany (Reno) Contipelli, grandchildren Kendall (Bryan) Drapac and Riley (Carly) Contipelli, her brothers Garry (Chris) and Larry Jackson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Dale and Charlotte Jackson, sisters Bonnie (Jim) Mitchell, Billie Anne (Howard) Duta, and brother Barry Jackson.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 9th, 2025 at Vodrazka Funeral Home, 6505 Brecksville Rd., Independence, OH from 2pm-5pm. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations to be made to Lucky Paws Animal Rescue, 5060 Shady Ridge Lane, Brooklyn Heights, Ohio 44131.
