Arthur J. Stanton's Obituary
Arthur J. Stanton passed away at the age of 94 on October 11, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Alice Stanton and his son, Kenneth (Ann). He is survived by his sons, Chris (Cindy) and Gary. Art had the love of many family members including grandchildren, Jonathan (Carmen), Justin (Lyndsay), Tiffany (Tyler) and Mia and great-grandchildren, Eva, Valentina and Benson. He will be missed by his brother, Steve (Gerri), sister Irene (Robert), brother-in-law Richard (Barbara) and many nieces, nephews and cousins in the U.S. and Poland as well as his longtime friends, Chuck and Nancy Walle. Art served in the Army of Occupation in Japan after World War II. Under the G.I. Bill, he graduated from Fenn College (now Cleveland State University). He married "the girl next door", Alice after dating for over five years. Art was a mechanical engineer with Harris Corporation. In his spare time, he enjoyed puttering around the house, making furniture and working on his boat. Art's family and friends can take comfort in their memories knowing that he was thankful for his long life. A service for Art will take place on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columbkille Church, 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma, followed by interment at All Saints Cemetery.
