Arlene Swiatkowski's Obituary
Arlene Swiatkowski, age 84 of Garfield Heights, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025. Born on September 6, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of the late Edward and Martha Swiatkowski.
After completing her high school education, Arlene embarked on a career at Merrill Lynch, where she dedicated many years of service. Her professional life was marked by the same warmth and dedication she showed in her personal relationships, making her a beloved colleague and friend within the workplace.
Arlene's passion for travel was one of the most vibrant aspects of her life. She found immense joy in exploring new places, with a particular fondness for cruises. These voyages allowed her to embrace the beauty of the sea and the excitement of adventure, all while forming lasting memories and friendships. Her lifelong fondness for Mickey Mouse was a reflection of her youthful spirit and love for the simple joys in life.
Arlene's presence was a gift to those who had the pleasure of knowing her, and her memory will continue to inspire and comfort her loved ones. As we say farewell to Arlene, we celebrate the life she lived and the countless ways in which she touched our hearts. She will be deeply missed by her dear cousins and friends, but the light of her spirit will forever shine in the memories we hold dear.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Arlene on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4750 Turney Rd., Garfield Heights at 10 a.m. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery.
