Alice Obert's Obituary
ALICE OBERT (nee Kuzius), Age 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2014, after a long prolonged illness in Twinsburg OH. She was born in Cleveland, OH to Alexander and Marie Kuzius (both deceased) and she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Obert. Alice received her B.S in Accounting from Fenn College in Cleveland and a M.S. in Education from Kent State. After graduation, she followed her passion for education as an elementary school teacher and later as a high school administrator in Garfield Heights, OH. Upon her retirement , Alice served the community of Cleveland as an Ambassador; volunteering her time, skills and passion to a city she knew well. Alice will be remembered for her generosity, sense of humor, love of travel and many friends and family held dear to her. She shared her smile and laughter with the world and made everyone who she met feel special. Even in her final days she worried about sending birthday cards, keeping in touch with family and friends and reminiscing. There aren't enough words to express the thanks she deserves. She is survived by her brothers: Robert A. Kuzius, of Solon OH and Ronald P. Kuzius , of Steetsboro, OH. Alice was loved by many and will be missed dearly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 11:00 am at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, OH 44141.
