Aunt Alice was was fun and supportive. I remember going to their store before our weekly AYF meetings and she, and uncle Simon would be so hard working and always welcoming to their clients. She always made sure I had my favorite ham salad sandwich, and that was a gesture of love that I felt personally. Knowing our family's had a bond gave us a sense of family.
