Alexander Scott's Obituary
Al Scott, age 87, born August 27, 1932 passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2020. Beloved husband of Beverly (nee Fox) for 59 years. Dearest father of Jeff (Tyra) and John(Debbie). Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Mia, Sarah, Derek and Dylan. Al was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Services and was employed as a typographer by Bohme and Blinkman and he also worked for the City of Independence prior to his retirement. In Al’s free time, he coached both CYO and recreational baseball in the City of Independence when his sons were younger. Hobbies in his later years included golfing, stained-glass art and being outdoors. He enjoyed making others laugh and continued this positive outlook on life until his passing. Services will be announced at a later date.
